About Mental Court

A different way of seeing performance.

Mental Court was created from a belief that tennis development often trains the visible game while overlooking the person, relationships, and environment determining whether that game appears under pressure.

The Mental Court Story

The point was never to add more advice.

It was to understand why talented players can know what to do and still struggle to do it when the match matters.

That question expands beyond mindset. It reaches preparation, strategy, communication, recovery, behavior, leadership, and culture. Mental Court brings those pieces together so the work reflects the full reality of performance.

Mariana Correa

Experience from every side of the court.

Mariana has lived tennis as the person competing, the person coaching, the captain responsible for a team, and the parent watching from outside the court.

She competed in more than 300 professional tournaments around the world, reached the top 500 in WTA singles and doubles, won the ITF Masters Mixed Doubles World Championship, coached within the USTA national system, and later reached number one in the world in ITF Masters singles.

As part of a selective WTA coaching program, which selects only a few coaches worldwide each year, Mariana coached WTA player Katie Boulter. Mariana has also served as an on court hitting partner for Martina Hingis and Garbiñe Muguruza.

She is the mother of a Division I tennis player who reached a top 50 national junior ranking in the US. Mariana understands firsthand what families navigate throughout a competitive career.

Those experiences created a perspective that statistics and credentials alone cannot provide. She understands what pressure feels like from inside the point and how the people outside the lines shape what happens within it.

The Difference

Competing changes how you see the player. Coaching changes how you see the solution. Parenting changes how you see everything around it.

That combination allows Mariana to understand not only what is happening, but how it feels to every person involved.
